Remove the antlers from the deer by cutting a V into the skull starting 2 inches in front of and behind the antlers. Make sure that all excess meat and tissue are COMPLETELY removed from the skull plate. This can be done by boiling the skull plate and brushing it away with a stiff brush.Place antlers into a large plastic bag and seal.
