Koester Index

This is only partially complete as I had not followed all of the Koester/Custer line down to present day. The upline ancestor of Deborah Michener is Paulus Koester. The name was changed after this family arrived to the American colonies and settled in Germantown Pennsylvania. The spelling got changed to Custer. One of the downline descendants of Paulus Koester was George Armstrong Custer.
