The House of Tick

Welcome to the House of Tick! The House of Tick was created in 1998 by myself. It has seen the comming and going of many things, and yet its still here. I'm currently a member of Omegafleet, a gaming clan. Its a great group of people. You'll notice that the forum link takes you to the forums of Omegafleet. Feel free to brows the site there too.

America's Army

America's Army was developed by my employer (US Army) as a recruiting tool. I know I get alot of questions asked of me when I go online and people see my active duty Army icon. The graphics are great and the price is right (its free!!), so on that mark...I can't complain to much. It would be nice if the game kept record of which servers you have played on and some sort of buddies support. The idea of having "honor" is a nice idea, flawed in some ways but nice. This game requires alot of teamwork to be really successful, but I'll go more into this with the America's Army page that I'm going to make...someday...eventually.

Unreal Tournament 2004

UT 2004 is one of the games I currently play. Its a first person shooter with many different modes of play. There are nine different modes all together the most popular being:

This graphics are well done, the maps are well thought out. One of the best additions to this game would have to be the built in voice chat. Epic Games has done a great job with this game. Team work is key for most of the maps/modes. If you are lucky enough to join a good team then you have a good chance of winning. There is even away to track your friends, where they are playing and so on.

Neverwinter Nights

I hadn't played a role playing game (RPG), since Final Fantasy IV for the Super Nintendo, until I bought this game. Bioware did a great job. The graphics are superb, the online interface alows you to see what server your buddies are on, and the details of that server. Bioware, also had the forsite to give its consumers the same tools it uses to make its official modules. While for some this may seem risky, it allows the Neverwinter Nights community to build and play thier own modules, increasing the loyalty to Bioware for having faith in its consumers, and overcomming the all-to-familiar corporate greed.
