In 1985 Dire Straits released their fifth album Brothers In Arms, it won a Grammy Award for Best Engineered Recording - Non Classical and Best Performance By a Duo or Group With Vocal. 1985 also brought us "We Are The World", Aerosmith - Done With Mirrors, Madonna - Like a Virgin and Phil Collins - No Jacket Required. Widespread Panic also formed in 1985.
We lost David Byron of Uriah Heep, Ricky Wilson of the B-52s, Ian Stewart of the Rolling Stones and Ricky Nelson.
