BOARD MEETING MINUTES 

December 14, 2002

Meeting was called to order at 6:40pm by Cyndi Ward, President. Members in attendance were Teresa Sykes, Susan Decker, Ronnie Mallard, Beverly Mallard, Glory White, Kathy Sanders, Todd Schroeder, and Teresa Warren.  Terry Hall was present representing the Tournament committee. The minutes were approved.

NEW BUSINESS:

• Tournament Information:
  • We will have two gold sponsors at $1000 and two silver at $500.  The gold will get 10 VIP passes, a banner and the outside front or back (first come gets front) and the silver gets 6 VIP passes and pg1 or back inside (first come gets page 1) and a banner.
  • There are 4 size ads inside:
    • 1/8 page $35.00
    • 1/4 page $65.00
    • 1/2 page $100.00
    • Full page $150.00
  • The packet includes: District Commissioners letter, Local Presidents letter, Softball Prayer, Map to fields, pictures and roster of all participating teams.
  • There will be no paid security guards.
  • The tournament will be July 17 to July 23.
  • Terry is responsible for running the brackets
  • Player agent informed the President about laminated cards in time for the tournament.
• Todd and Teresa volunteered to run a clinic for the managers.  
• Managers meeting will be held monthly starting February.  
• A parent contract for Youth sports from the Country will be signed by each parent at registration.
• There is a coaches meeting for last years coaches on January 17th.  Todd is in charge of the managers.
• Have a blessed Christmas and a Happy new Year.
• The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, January 14th  at 6:30pm at Temple Baptist.
• There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30pm.
