These 4 pictures were from my and Sean's spring/summer road trip around the country
in 1989. The rock formations are from the 'Garden of the Gods' state park, which was a Indian holy site...outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Then there is Sean selling flowers on a Colorado street corner, one of our little road trip temporry jobs that summer,
then a picture of Sean in Indiana where he was born, we went to see his family there, that summer, on our trip, before we got married.

I took this photo of Sean and the statue of liberty on our honeymoon to New york City in the fall of 1989.
Then the pictures below show me waiting for the ferry to the statue(you can see how windy it was, and see the statue way off in the distance), then me in front of the famous skyline and then me in our NEW YORK PENTA hotel room.
The Last picture from NYC is a wonderful sunset skyline I caught out the window as we drove home.

In 1999, we took our 10th anniversary trip to Chicago! We took a day cruise of lake Michigan, went to the medieval times dinner theater, and various things that weekend,
but of course the 2 Cubs games we got to see where the highlight.

My first trip to Egypt in 2005 (with My friend, Beth):
We only saw Cairo and Giza and Saqqara on that trip...
but it was amazing to finally see after so many years longing to go there.

My and Sean's trip to Chichen itza Mexico in 2007:
Another site I had longed to see for years and years. It was a real short 48 hour trip but was still awesome! The Mayaland hotel was so romantic.

Amethyst, Sybilsue and My trip to EGYPT in 2008:
I was so thrilled to take the girls with me. Glad they got to see some of the world before they were 35 like I had to wait till to start my world travels.
We stayed in Giza, but saw Cairo, Alexandria, and Luxor.

It was great having that mother/daughter bonding time in such a magical place.

My 2009 Egypt and Rome trip! (With my friend, Beth)
We stayed at the fancy Celio hotel in walking distance to the Colosseum in Rome and had a balcony that overlooked the Luxor Temple in Luxor's Emilio Hotel.

My, Amethyst, Sybilsue, and Harmony's 2010 India trip! We spent several days in Delhi at the Ajanta hotel
Then spent a couple of days in Jaipur at the AMAZING Diggi Palace Hotel,
then went back to Delhi for HOLI, the Hindu Spring Festival of colors.

Sean and Merlin's Alaska trip in 2010, Merlin's first trip there and Sean's 4th.
Merlin won the trip with an appointment to be 'artist in residence' at Hope Studios in Anchorage.
They were able to stay with Sean's father, there.

My trip to Chichen Itza Mexico with my friend Beth, in Oct. 2010.
We stayed at the Awesome Mayaland hotel right at the ancient city site and stayed a whole week. It was amazing.

Sean and I took a Cruise to the Bahamas in April 2011, formal night and the 'old timey' costumed portraits were fun...always loved playing dress up.

I visited Greece (Athens, Sounion,and Delphi) for 7 days and then took a quick 44 hour side trip to Egypt (Cairo, Giza and Saqqara) in Nov. 2011.

I took Amethyst, Sybilsue, and Harmony to Chichen itza, in Feb. 2012 for my 3rd trip there and the girls first.
The Mayaland hotel was beautiful, and the Mayan ruins of course were awesomely magical.

Sean and I took a 23rd anniversary cruise in sept (3 weeks early for our anniversary) of 2012 to Progreso and Cozumel Mexico from new Orleans.
The cruise was tons of fun and relaxation and the Mayan ruins of Uxmal were awesome and mystical.
In 2013, I took two Bahamas cruises...one in may with my eldest daughter Destiny (for her 21st birthday) and my mom (for mother's day)
then another in October with my mom and my aunt for our 'crazy ladies cruise.'
In March of 2014, I took my daughters; Sybilsue and Harmony to Egypt and Greece for 16 days!

We also take a family trip to the beach every summer solstice with our six kids; (Merlin, Destiny, Amethyst, Sybilsue, Balthazar and Harmony.)
We usually stay at the Continental hotel and apartments in Sunset Beach NC...but have also went to Folly beach, SC....Virginia beach VA, and Tybee Island GA.
