Maniac Mansion: Maniac Mansion came out in the late 1980s, I think. It was a brilliant game, I loved it as soon as I began playing it. The choice between the different kids with different skills, the tons of different ways to win the game, the insane situations, THE TENTACLES! It all adds up to a hilarious mix. The old version may seem a little dated, but there was a new version released as well, with improved graphics and sound. But even this one seems a little dated compared with the 3D technology of the Curse of Monkey Island or Grim Fandango. But still, the entertaining situations, the hilarious characters and the wacky mansion to explore makes up completely for the rough, 16-color graphics. If you're looking for artistic, musical masterpieces, try Grim Fandango, or Curse of Monkey Island. If you want to laugh and challenge your brain, try Maniac Mansion!!
