Pvt. Alson Sharpe, Company G, 44th Regiment NC Troops, is buried at the Mount Hermon Methodist Church cemetery in Alamance County, North Carolina. A CSA gravestone marks the plot, on which it indicates that he was born in 1838, and died in 1930. Also on the marker, is the following: "Ella Albright 1858-1944." (Click here for closeup of marker.)
