This course offers an analysis of economic thought, from
early Mercantilists to the present day contribultions in economic theory. Classical and
Neo-classical economics, Capitalism and Marxism, The Great Depression and the Welfare
State, John Meynard Keynes, Post-Keynesian economics and the new Monetarism are studied.
