1989 World Champs from Trumbull, Conn.

This is the pin sported by the Trumbull team during their world championship season in 1989. This is a very hot pin among collectors of historical pins and pins from World Series championship teams. The final game of 1989 was pitched by Chris Drury, who junk balled and spit his way to the 5-2 upset victory over Chinese Taipei (Chris was the spittin'est kid I've ever seen!). Chris is now an outstanding professional hockey player in the NHL. If you know the name of his team, please email me or sign the guestbook and I'll include that information.
