Destiny, Grandma, and Marcus

1995

Many of you may have known Marcus's Grandma, Bea Good. As of May 14, 2000, Mother's Day, she could bear the pain no longer. Once was her apartment filled with the many friends of Marcus trapsing in and out . . . all hours of the day and night . . .then the boys stopped coming . . . the girls stopped calling . . . silence . . . but for the ever present horn blowing of the train as a reminder of the night it all ended. She handed her life over to God and now she is with Marcus and Scruffy. Imagine for a moment Marcus's most famous phrase "Grandma, What ya' got good to eat?" Grandma loved to cook . . . then there was no one. I followed him all through his life but was not able to be with him this last time but Grandma could and she did. We love and miss you both. Adrienne and I keep saying "We need to check on Grandma" or "I need to call and tell Marc . . ."

Word is on the street:

Someone saw Marcus Good at the tracks when he was killed and are now afraid of being accused of being an accessory. Wonder why? If you know anything . . .anything . . . please, please contact e-mail below. Possible reward

On December 20, 2000, James L. Good, Marcus’s Grandpa, joined Marcus and Grandma after a brief struggle with a very rare liver cancer. Now the Brittany Hope, Destiny, Kira Faith, Adree, Susan, and I have 3 of God’s angels watching over us. We love and miss you but we will join before long.
