On Tuesday of this week Lady Laura and I went to the VA Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA. I was scheduled for some cardiac tests and everything came out fine. The doctor said my heart was doing well but I needed to lose weight. Under normal circumstances it's about an hour's drive from our house to get to the hospital. We had to be there at 8 am so we left the house at about 6:00. I was driving and I figured we'd run into rush hour traffic and probably a school bus or two so I wanted to give us extra time. I am not a fast driver so that was taken into account, too.

We did fine most of the way as a majority of the driving is on a major highway. But when we got into towns we hit heavy traffic and I was extra careful. Cars were zipping around us and I thought I was doing well. At one red light a car pulled up beside me. He beeped his horn and his passenger side window rolled down. I thought he might need directions so I rolled my window down and smiled at him. He looked at me and yelled, "Where is it you think you're not going!?"
