1.      Each YM is responsible for reading and following all orders posted on the bulletin board.

2.      Each YM will always abide with the tenets of the YM Obligation. And YM Creed. All YM’s are expected to exemplify the Marine Corps values of  Honor Courage and Commitment.

3.      Each YM is responsible for knowing and using the chain of command for all contact with the staff. Concerns and complaints should be addressed first to the Adjutant.

4.      Each YM will attend all drills, formations and exercises, unless they have notified a staff officer or staff NCO.

5.      A written excuse stating the reason for the absence from a YM parent or guardian is required anytime a YM is absent from a drill. The CO has sole discretion to accept an excuse. All written excuses will be submitted via the chain of command as expeditiously as possible.

6.      Each YM has the responsibility to notify the Medical Officer, Adjutant, or any staff officer, of any health problems without delay.

7.      Training orders are available on the bulletin board and the web page: www.capcityyoungmarines.org.

8.      Each YM will be in the proper uniform for all formations.

9.      Each YM will be punctual for all formations and departures.

10.  Incivility will not be tolerated. Persistent disrespect or contempt for fellow YM’s, the staff or the principles of the YM program is basis for disciplinary action.

11.  Promotion requirements are addressed in the Guidebook and higher headquarters directives will be followed with no exception.

12.  There will be no talking during formations, unless in the line of duty.

13.  There will be no running at any time unless so ordered by a superior.

14.  Each YM will maintain a military bearing and deportment at all times.
