The Ordination of Brother Sir Knight Ed Burch

May 31st - Raleigh, North Carolina

The Assembly Knights are invited to attend the ordination of Ed Burch at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Raleigh, on May 31st.

Knights should wear their social regalia.  Local Raleigh area Sir Knights for the Raleigh Assembly are serving as ushers.

Ed graduates from St. Mary's Seminary on May 15th and will be in Burlington May 16th and 17th.  He is ordained on the 31st and will participate in the June 1st mass at Blessed Sacrament.

Brother Burch would like Burlington Assembly Sir Knights to  participate in this mass (at Blessed Sacrament).   Fourth Degree Sir Knights should wear social regalia at the Blessed Sacrament mass.  We need 6-8 Knights in Social Regalia from the Assembly to serve as the ushers.

Spouses are most welcome and would enjoy witnessing an ordination.

This is an Assembly Discussion item for this month's meeting.  Let  PSD Joe Dick know if you can  participate as soon as possible.

Directions for the Ordination:

Take the I-440 Beltline North (Inner Beltline).  Exist at Six Forks Road, South (Exit 8A).  As you drive south, just before the third traffic light on Six Forks Road, there will be a road that veers to the right.  This is Anderson Drive.  Take Anderson Drive until the first traffic light (two or three blocks).  Turn left at the traffic light onto Overbrook Drive (the parish school is on the left).  Take the first driveway past the school on the left and into the parking lot.  The church is straight ahead.
