Move Over Hanson, Meet Bon Voyager

Pictured on their CD are the Greenberg
brothers of South Yarmouth: from top,
                                        Johnathan, 12 David, 14, and John-Paul,
                                        11. The boys sing and dance to original
                                        pop music.

                    Where to see them

SouthCoast audiences can catch bon Voyager's act when David, John-Paul and
Jonathan Greenberg participate tomorrow in a Media-One toys for tots telethon,
according to Steven Greenberg, father of the three boys in the group. On Sunday at 2
p.m., bon Voyager will be at the New Harbour Mall in Fall River for another holiday
fund-raiser and will perform for schoolkids at the DeValles and Parker schools in New
Bedford on Dec. 9, and at the Campbell School in January, Mr. Greenberg said.

The name of the group, using the French word for good, reflects the family’s interest in
being ambassadors of good will, Mr. Greenberg explained.

Bon Voyager: Cape brothers make music, have a mission

Mr. Greenberg lived in several countries, including Bangladesh, Turkey, Greece,
Afghanistan and Nepal, where he ran halfway houses for foreign youth who were
traveling and got into trouble with drugs. He says he also reached out to the local
people through his music and various humanitarian projects. Mr. Greenberg met
Mother Teresa during the five years he spent in India. He got her approval to comfort
patients in one of her homes for the dying by playing his music.
