Lynnette left us, it has been a year,
Since then we have shed a lot of tears,
We have meet a lot of people that had itchy ears,
They didn’t know all of her fears.
All the people she had touched,
We didn’t know until she had left us.
The love she had shown,
To all the people she had known.
We’ve had people, we didn’t know to write or call on the phone,
And to tell us how they hated she was gone.
Lynnette never met a stranger,
At a young age she never saw any danger.
She never had an important name,
But though all the love, she left here, she left with fame,
All through her life,
She never showed strife,
Even through her pain,
Now she has the gain.
She always left you with a smile,
She will never have to travel another fearful mile.
Now she would tell us do not mourn,
Because I’ve gone through all my storms.
She had shown so much love to everyone,
There was love to be showed to anyone,
How nice it would be if we could love,
With the love she had showed.
She had to have flying around her a dove,
And that dove was from heaven above.
Her love was so pure and sweet as if it fitted as a tight glove.
