Example Projects for Your Careers
My Suggestions For Approaching This Project
- 1. Do Something That Interests You! By choosing a career of interest it helps to makes sure that this project will have at least some interest to you. But, try to find a topic or organism that interests you as well. Projects like this can roll over into things like your senior project or a project for another class. If you are working with something you enjoy, you will enjoy what you do. Have FUN! Just because this is a science fair project doesn't mean it has to be boring.
- 2. Keep a Journal! By keeping a journal of everything you do, it shows that it is truly your work. It will help you to see how things have progressed from your first day of working, and help to show you the results at the end. Plus, the judges love stuff like that!
- 3. Don't Procastonate! Trust me here, you don't want to wait until the last minute to do your project, because it will show. Give yourself plenty of time to work, even time to screw up because no experiment is going to go perfectly. It will be less stressful, and you won't lose as much sleep the night before the project is due.
- 4. Follow Instructions! I know, sounds easy, but lots of times people don't always follow the instructions. Make sure you know what is going on and what is expected of you. You don't want to lose valuable points for something so easy as reading instructions
- 5. Be Creative, Not Impossible! Your problem doesn't have to sound like something Einstein himself wrote, just be creative. Do something new, but challenging at the same time. It is better to have something creative that didn't sound like it came out of a college textbook, then something that you can't even pronounce let alone explain.
Ok guys, I switched this section of the page up a bit to try and give you some links on the specific projects you are doing. Hopefully some of this information can help you on your upcoming background report. I also decided to use a different font because I am getting tired of this other one, lol =0)
