I know that picking out the organism will be one of the tougher things in your project. Neither of you have given me solid organisms that you want to work with ('cept for the giant squid ;) ), so I just compiled a few pages on invertebrates in general. Hopefully one of these organisms will just jump out at you and you will start thinking of some cool ideas to do with the organism for your project.
