~ My Great, Grandfather Klingenmaier played on a Chicago minor league baseball team. He also lived an interesting life during the prohibition. He had a few run-ins with the great Al Capone. Once he was caught bringing beer into Chicago, and was told by his men never to do it again, otherwise there would be trouble. Another time he was outside his apartment when he saw Al Capone's brother get shot. My Grandfather can remember hearing stories about Al Capone, and about my Great, Grandfather's baseball playing.
