In 1999 I went to my first Major League games in Atlanta when they hosted the Boston Red Sox. We were seated in right centerfield for both games and had a great view. I was able to get Pedro Martinez to toss me a ball before the first game while he and several other Red Sox pitchers were running sprints in the outfield. The second game netted me something even better. I went to the Red Sox dugout area about two hours before the game and they were interviewing Pedro and Nomar Garciaparra just in front of where I was standing. After the interview I was able to get Nomar to autograph a card for me!!!
