"I'm bored!" whined Nick.
"Quit whining, we're all bored," said Brian
"Lets go clubbin," said A.J.
"You two comming?" Brian asked Kevin and Howie.
"No, I'm tired, I'm gonna stay here," said Kevin.
"Me too," said Howie.
"Okay, later," said A.J.
They went outside and got in Brian's jeep. They puled up to the Attic. There was only a short line in front when they got in. Brian and Nick sat down at the bar. A.J. went straight to the dance floor to find a girl. "Hey Frick wanna play a game of pool?" "Yeah, I'll break," said Brian.
He racked up the balls. He broke and knocked two bals in. They finnished the game and Brian won. "Do you wanna play again?" asked Brian.
"Nah, I'm gonna get something to drink."
"Okay."
Nick and Brian went over to the bar and bought drinks. "Check out that girl over there," said Nick.
Brian looked over. 'Wow,' he thought. She had black hair down to her shoulders and she was wearing a dark blue dress.
"Should I go talk to her?" asked Brian.
"Go ahead," said Nick. "She's all alone."
Brian got up and walked over to her. He sat down next to her. "Can I buy you a drink?" She looked up and smiled. She had the most beautiful green eyes.
"Sure," she said.
"My name is Brian, what's yours?"
"I'm Sara."
"Nice to meet you Sara."
"Same here," she said.
After they finnished their drinks Brian asked her to dance. They went out on the dance floor. A slow song was on. Brian held her close. He could distnictivly smell Tommy Girl.
"How old are you?" asked Brian.
"I'll be 23 on February 20th," said Sara.
"Really? My birthday is the 20th too. I'll be 24."
"What a coincidence."
"Yeah."
She layed her head on his chest. 'He smells good," she thought.
Nick sat back and finnished his drink. AJ came over and sat next to him. "Did you find a girl?" asked Nick.
"Yeah, but I don't think she's my type," said AJ.
"You mean she doesn't have green hair and a nose ring?"
"Very funny. where's Brian?"
"On the dance floor." Nick pointed towards Brian and Sara. "They've been dancing the whole time, I think he really likes her."
"How do you know?" asked AJ.
"Well, he only dances with a girl that long if he really likes her."

Brian was in heaven. He felt really strongly for Sara, even though they had just met. They had been dancing and talking for a long time, so they sat down and got sodas.
"What do you do for a living?" asked Sara.
Brian wondered if he should tell Sara about the Backstreet Boys. It tended to scare some girls away. "I'm in the entertainment business," said Brian. Just then their song, I'll Never Break Your Heart came on. He sang along. When he got to the high note he hit it perfectly. A few people sent glances his way.
"That was beautiful," said Sara.
"Thanks. There's something I haven't told you about my job," said Brian.
"Oh?"
"Have you heard of the Backstreet Boys?" he asked.
"I think so, wasn't that their song that was just playing?"
"Yeah. Me and my friends are the Backstreet Boys."
"Really? That's cool."
"Do you wan't me to introduce you to two of my friends?"
"Sure, that would be great."
Brian led Sara over to where AJ and Nick were sitting. "Hey guys."
"Hey B-Rok," said AJ.
"This is Sara, Sara this is AJ and Nick, otherwise known as Bone and Kaos."
"Nice to meet you," said Nick. He extended his hand.
"Nice to meet you too," said Sara as she shook their hands.
Brian we need to get going," said AJ.
Brian looked at his watch, 1:47. "Yeah, I guess we better be going. I'll be there in a minute." Brian led Sara over to the other end of the bar so they could be alone. "I need to go."
"Okay," said Sara.
Brian picked up a pen from the bar and wrote his phone number on a napkin. Sara did the same and they switched. Brian held Sara around the waist. She put her arms around his neck and they kissed. "I'll call you,"said Sara. "Bye."
"Bye."
Brian walked over to the door where AJ and Nick were waiting.
"Took ya long enough," said AJ.
"Yeah, sorry," said Brian.
They got back in Brian's jeep. "Hey Frack, did you meet a girl?" asked Brian.
"Ummm... girl?" he paused to think. "No... I didn't talk to... anyone."
"Hey Nick," how many drinks did you have when I was gone?" asked AJ.
"One or 11," said Nick.
Brian and AJ laughed. Nick laughed even though he didn't know what was so funny. "How many?" asked Brian.
"One or 11... I lost count."
"I don't remember Nick being this drunk before," said AJ.
"I don't think he ever has been this drunk before," said Brian. "Lets take him to our house tonight."
"Good Idea," said AJ. "His mom would freak."

By the time they got to Brian and AJ's apartment Nick had fallen asleep and his head was slumped down on his chest.
"Lets wake up sleeping beauty," said AJ.
Brian and AJ set to work waking up Nick, not an easy task. Nick yawned. "Just another hour mommy."
Brian and AJ laughed. "No sweetie, its time to get up now," said Brian.
Finally Brian and AJ dragged him out of the back of the jeep and inside where they dropped him on the couch. Brian threw a blanket over him and him and AJ crashed in their rooms.

The next morning Brian was the first one up. He went in the bathroom and took a long hot shower. By the time he got out AJ was awake. Nick was stil sleeping like a baby. AJ and Brian sat down in the kitchen and ate breakfast. All of a sudden they heard Nick moan from the other room. Brian and AJ got up and went over to him. Nick was holding his head. "Your awake," said AJ.
"My head... remind me not to drink that much again," said Nick.
"Hangovers... I know how you feel," said AJ.
Nick tried to get up but all he succeded in doing was landing on the floor tanged up in the blanket. Brian pulled Nick to his feet and let him to the bathroom. He went back to the kitchen where AJ was sitting eating.
"Wait 'til Kev and D hear about this," said AJ.
"Yeah," said Brian with a chuckle. "I don't think he'll drink that much again in the near future."
Nick staggered into the kitchen and sat down.
"You hungry?" asked Brian.
"Yeah," said Nick.
Brian got up and made him a bowl of cereal. Nick eagerly took it and dug in. "we have to meet Johnny in the studio today," said Brian.
"2:00 right?" asked AJ.
"Yep."
"Hey Nick, I'll take you home if you want," said AJ.
"Alright," said Nick. He finnished his cereal and put the bowl in the sink.
"We'll meet you at the studio. Later."
"C-ya," said Brian.
Brian washed up the breakfast dishes before calling Sara.
"Hello?"
"Hey sweetheart," said Brian. "I've got some stuff to do today in the studio with the other guys. Do you want to come with us?"
"Sure, that sounds great."
"Okay, I'll pick you up at 1:30."
"Okay, I'll see you then."
"Bye."
"Bye."
Brian hung up the phone and did a front flip across the room before plopping down on the couch. "Did I just do that?" thought Brian. He laughed and turned on the tv.

When Brian and Sara got to the studio everyone was already there. Brian gave Sara a kiss and joined the other guys.
"What do you want to sing to warm up?" asked Kevin.
"Anywhere For You," said Brian, he smiled at Sara who was watching them on the opposite side of the glass.
"Anywhere for you it is," said Kevin.
"I'd go anywhere for you, Anywhere you asked me to... I'd do anything for you, anything you want me to. I'd walk halfway around the world for just one kiss from you. Far beyond the all of love, the sun the stars the moon. As long as your loves there to lead me. I won't loose my way believe me. Even thought the darkest night you know. I'd go anywhere for you. Anywhere you asked me to. I'd do anything for you, anything you want me too..." when the song was over Brian blew a kiss to Sara. she smilled and did the same back.
"Aww," said AJ when he saw Brian and Sara.
"Oh get a life," said Brian.
"I have a life," said AJ. "Singing, dancing, making fun of you."
"Very funny," said Brian.
"Thank you, I try."
"Come on guys, lets finnish," said Kevin.
"Aww, do you always have to take things so seriously?" asked AJ.
"If I don't then we'll be here all day," said Kevin.
"Okay then, lets sing," said AJ eagerly.
They other guys laughed. They sang "The Perfect Fan," and "The One," songs for the new album and they left.

"You guys did really good," said Sara as her and Brian walked hand in hand back to Brian's car.
"Thanks," said Brian, smiling.
"I've heard the first song you sang, but I've never heard the other two songs you sang."
"Those two are for the new album. The second one is one I wrote called The Perfect Fan. The third one is called The One."
"Their both really nice."
"Do you want to see a movie?" asked Brian.
"Sure," said Sara.
They went to the theatre and watched Forces of Nature. After the movie they went bac to Sara's house. When they went inside she checked her answering maching, there were two messages. She hit the play button and hung up her jacket. A familiar voice came over the room. "Hi Sara, its Dave. Please give me another chance... call me when you get home."
"Who was that?" asked Brian.
"My ex-boyfriend. I can't believe he's still calling."
Sara stopped talking when her fathers voice came over the room. "Sara... you grandmother is sick... she's in the hospital. Come down as soon as you get home."
"Oh god, I've got to get down there," said Sara.
"I'll drive you," said Brian.
Sara followed Brian out the door to his jeep. "Oh god, I hope she's okay," said Sara as they walked through the parking lot to the hospital.
"I'm sure she'll be fine," said Brian. He put his arm around her waist as they went inside. Sara went to the front desk and asked what room her grandmother was in. When they went into her grandmothers room Sara was greeted by hugs from her mother and father. "How is she?" asked Sara as she went over to the side of the bed.
"Not good," said Sara's father, David. He was in his mid 50's and had greying hair. Her mother, Beth, who was sitting on a chair on the other side of her mothers bed, was in her 50's too.
"What happened? asked Sara.
"She had a stroke," said Beth.
"Their keeping her alive on life support," said David.
Sara realized she had left Brian standing at the door. She went over to him and introduced him to her parents. "Nice to meet you," said David.
"Same here," said Brian.
A doctor came in and made them leave. They sat in the waiting room, hoping for good news. After about 10 minutes a doctor came in. "Mr and Mrs Ferguson?"
"That's us," said David.
"We have bad news. Your mother has passed away," he paused. I'm very sorry.
"Thank you," said David.
David comforted Beth. Sara, who was to upset to speak, broke down in tears. Brian held her and rocked her back and forth. Sara cried on Brian's sholder until she couldn't cry anymore.
"Come on, I'll take you home," said Brian.
Sara hugged her mom and dad and walked out to Brian's car. They rod to Sara's house in silence. When they got to Sara's house she ran down the hall to her room.
"Sara, wait," called Brian.
He ran down the hall after her. when he got to her room she was laying face down on her bed with her face burried in her pillow. Brian sat down on the edge of the bed and gently stroked her hair. "Sara, I'm really sorry. I know exactly how you feel." He paused. "Do you want to talk about it?"
Sara rolled over and looked up at Brian. "She was the last grandparent I had.
"My uncle died a few years ago, that really hit me hard. It hit Kevin even worse, considering it was his father.
Sara wiped of her eyes andstood up. She started to walk out the door. she stopped and turned around to face Brian. "Thank you."
Brian was a little confused. "For what?"
"For being there for me. You really helped me a lot."
"Your welcome."
She kissed him. He smiled and put his arm around her as they walked down the hall.

Later that night when Brian and Sara were watching tv the door bell rang. "I'll get it," said Sara. She stood up and went over to answer it. "Dave?"
"Sara, did you get my message?" asked Dave.
"Yeah, but..."
He stepped in the door and kissed her. She pushed away. "Dave, no."
Brian heard the commotion, stood up and went over to the door. "Oh, I didn't know you have company," said Dave.
"Dave pease, just get out of here," begged Sara.
"What will you do if I don't?" asked Dave.
"She asked you to leave," said Brian.
"Who are you, Mr Tough Guy?" He shoved Brian in the chest, forcing Brian to step back. "Why don't you fight? Are you chicken?"
"Your not worth the trouple," said Brian, stepping forward next to Sara.
Dave stepped forward in Brain's face. "Chicken," he whispered. He shoved Brian again. when Brian didn't react Dave shoved him again. Finally he pushed Brian too far and he snapped. Brian shoved him back. Dave swung at Brian, hitting him on the face.
"Dave stop!" yelled Sara. She tried to seperate the two. Dave shoved her out of the way, sending her flying to the floor. He pulled out a switchbade, forcing Brian to step back. "Dave, no!" yelled Sara from her spot on the floor.
"Look, just put the knife away," said Brian.
"Shutup!" yelled Dave. He pointed the knife at Sara. "Keep you mouth shut Bitch."
When Dave was looking at Sara, Brian decided to try and get the knife from Dave. Brian ran towards Dave. Dave sa Brian out of the corner of his eye and swung around, stabbing Brian in the side with the knife.
Brian cried out in pain and dropped to the floor. "Brian!" Sara jumped up and ran to Brian's side. Dave stood there and stared at the knife in his hand and at Brian laying on the ground. He dropped the knife and ran out of the house.
Sara called 911 and put a towell on Brian's wound. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine," said Brian.
In minutes the ambulance arrived and took Brian to the hospital. Sara drove behind the ambulance. She waiting in the waiting room. 'This is the second time I've been here today,' thought Sara.
Brian got 5 stiches and they released him. Sara took him home. "Are you sure you don't need anything?" asked Sara.
"I'm sure."
"I'll be in the living room if you need me." Sara turned and started to leave the room.
"Wait," said Brian.
She turned around. "Yeah?"
"Stay here," said Brian patting the bed beside him. She climbed into the bed next to him Brian turned off the light and started to fall asleep.
"Brian?"
"Yeah?"
"Thank You."
"For what?" asked Brian.
"My life has been so jumbled up and confusing lately... any you helped me put the pieces together. I love you."
"I love you too."
