I woke up to the sunlight gently hitting my face. I sat up andd looked at my clock, It was 8:55. It was my 17th birthday.
I got out of bed and turned on my radio just in time to catch Tearin' up my heart. When the song was over, I turned on my Nsync cd. This is the best way to wake up, I though. I picked out my clothes for the day. A comfy pair of jeans and a new T-shirt I had just got the day before.
When I was done getting dressed I turned off the CD and went downstairs. My dad was making homemade pancakes, My favorite breakfast.
"Happy Birthday Sport," said my Dad.
"Thanks dad," I said.
He handed me a plate with pancakes.
"I made them especially for you," he said.
"Your the best."
Before I go on I guess I better tell you a little bit about me. My name is Erin. I'm 16, as you already know. My favorite band is Nsync. I play varsity basketball for my school team. I also love rollerblading. I started rollerblading eight years ago. I live in Orlando, Florida. I was born there and I have lived there all my life.
Well, just then my little sister came in. My sister, Kate, is 13 years old. She like me loves Nsync. She begged my dad for her own Nsync cd so she didn't have to borrow mine all the time. She also has a secret crush on Lance, although she won't admit to that.
"Hey sis, Happy Birthday," said Kate.
"Thanks," I said as she gave me a hug.
"So, how does Planet Hollywood sound?" asked my dad.
"That would be great!" I said.
"All right, We'll leave at 11:00 okay?" he said.
"Yeah, I'll be ready," I said.
I finnished my breakfast and ran upstairs. I was pretty much ready. I did my hair and my make-up. I flipped on my Nsync cd again and listened to God Must Have spent A little more time on you. I checked my watch, 10:55. I turned off my cd player and started out my door. I stopped and grabbed the cover to my Nsync cd and tucked it inside my autograph book, just in case I saw anyone special. I went back downstairs. Kate was sitting in the living room ready to go. My dad walked out of his room.
"Ready to go?" he asked.
"Yep," said me and Kate at the same time.
We walked outside and got in the car. It was about a 45 minute drive. I turned on the radio to my favorite station. 'Fly' by Suger Ray was on. When we got to Planet Hollywood we noticed it wasn't as crowded as usual.
We went inside. The waitress directed us to our table. While we were walking past some tables Kate squealed. I covered her mouth with my hand.
"What?" I whispered.
Kate pointed towards the corner of the room. I glanced over towards where she was pointing.
The first thing I saw was his curly blond hair.
