All I Have To Give
Chapter 7
Brian found Nick sitting on the front porch. "Look," started Brian.
"What were you doing with Jessica?" yelled Nick.
"Nick, just let me explain," said Brian.
"Go ahead," said Nick.
"I was upset about something, Jessica came outside and asked me what was wrong. I explained it to her and she said she was sorry. And she gave me a hug. That was it."
"How do I know?" asked Nick stubornly.
"Frack, we're best friends. I would never try and steal your girl," said Brian.
"Fine," said Nick.
"Jessica's a really nice girl. I'd like to be friends with her, nothing else. You are really lucky to have her. Believe me, I would never, ever try and take that away from you."
"Sorry I acted like a jerk," said Nick.
Brian stood up and pulled Nick to his feet. "It's okay, just trust me a little more."

"Pick up the phone Michelle," said Jessica.
It was the next day, Sunday, it was 10:30 in the morning, but Michelle was probably still asleep.
"Hello?" Michelle finnaly mumbled, sleepily.
"Michelle get dressed and come over to my house."
"Why?" she asked, slightly confused.
"Just do," said Jessica. "Can you be here in an hour?"
"Yeah, an hour."
"See ya later."
"Bye," said Michelle.

Michelle pulled up in front of Jessica's house. There was a car next to Jessica's that she had never seen before. She went and knocked on the door. Jessica's mom answered. "Hi Michelle, their all out back."
"Thanks," Michelle went through the house towards the backdoor. Mrs James said 'their all out back'. Who was with Jessica? When she walked out the back door she saw Jessica and two guys playing basketball.
"Hey Michelle, I want you to meet Nick and Brian," said Jessica.
Michelle was about to scream inside. It was Nick and Brian from the Backstreet Boys! She shook Nick's hand. "Hi Nick." Brian looked at her and smiled when they shook hands.
"Hi Michelle," said Brian. His smile was worth a million dollers.
"Hi," Michelle studdered. "Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too," said Brian. He thought at first that he was going to meet a friend who he could write to every once in a while, but already without even knowing her he hoped something more than that would happen. "Do you want to sit down and talk?"
"Sure," said Michelle.
Nick and Jessica kept playing basketball, while Brian and Michelle sat down on the grass under a tree. "So, you go to school with Jessica?" asked Brian.
"Yeah, luckily its our last year."
"Yeah, I know what you mean." Brian paused. "Did you know that me and Nick and the other guys are leaving tommorow?"
"No," said Michelle, trying to hide her dissapointment but not succeding.
"We have to do some charity concerts. Then we have time off for the holidays."
"Oh," said Michelle.
Michelle and Brian talked for about half an hour. By the time they stood up, Jessica and Nick had gone back inside. Michelle led the way into the house. Nick and Jessica were sitting at the table in the kitchen having a drink. "Hey, me and Nick are going out to eat lunch in a little while since its the last time we'll see each other for a while," said Jessica.
Brian pulled Michelle aside. "Since they will probably want to be alone, do you want to go out to lunch with me?"
"Of course," said Michelle.
"Great," he said smiling. He turned to Nick. "I'll see ya later Frack."
"Bye," said Nick.
Brian and Michelle went outside and got in her car and headed towards a resturaunt.
"What do you want?" asked Brian.
Brian and Michelle had decided to go to the Olive Garden. "The Shrimp Linguini sounds good," she said.
"I think I'll get the Chicken Parmasan," said Brian to the waitress.
"I love this place," said Michelle, as she dipped some of the bread set out on the table in the marinara sauce set out. "They make the best bread."
Brian tried a piece. "Hey, that is pretty good."
They talked about their favorite foods and snacks while they finnished off the basket of bread.

"I think Brian likes your friend," said Nick to Jessica. They were on their way to the Quincy's nearby.
"I'm pretty sure Michelle likes Brian," said Jessica. "But you guys are leaving tommorow."
"I know, but we'll only be gone a week."
"What about Brian? Isn't he going to stay in Lexington with his family for Christmas?"
"Oh yeah, well him and Kevin will probably both stay."
"That means they won't see each other for a while."
"I know," said Nick. "I hope they don't get too attached."
They got to the Quincy's and went inside holding hands, still discussing the fact of them leaving.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"That looks good," said Brian as the waitress set down Michelle's food.
"I know," she said.
They dug into their food. "Umm, this is good. Do you want a bite?"
"Sure," he said.
She fed him a bite of her pasta from her fork. He got the sauce all over his face. She giggled, "You got a little on your chin."
He wiped off his face with his napkin. "Better?"
"Much," she said. "I wish you didn't have to leave tommorow..."
Brian interupted her. "I really like you. I know that we won't be able to see much of each other, but I think we should give it a chance."
"I like you too Brian. I don't know if it will work out, but I'll give it a try.
Brian picked up Michelle's hand. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes I will," said Michelle smiling.
They finnished eating and Brian covered the bill. They went outside and got in Michelle's car. "So what should we do on our first and last day together for a while?" asked Brian.
"I don't know..." Then she remembered an artical she had read about Brian. It said he was starting to get interested in gold. "I know, Miniature golf."
Brian's face lit up, "That sounds great."
"There's two places nearby, would you rather go to the rainforest one or the pirate one?"
"The pirate one sounds better," said Brian.
"That one's more fun," she said.
Michelle cranked up the car and pulled out of the parking lot.
Jessica and Nick sat down with their plates of food and started eating. Since it was an all-you-can-eat buffet Jessica started with a salad and some pasta. Nick had skipped the salad bar and gone straight to the main courses.
"So, what exactly are you doing when you leave tommorow?" asked Jessica.
"Well, our flight leaves tommorow at 1:00. We get to New York about 3:00 or so. We go to the venue to do a soundcheck and practice. Then we get dressed, get our hair and make-up done and do the show."
"Who's the opening act?"
"Oh yeah, Aaron's gonna be the opening act for these couple of shows," Nick explained.
"That's cool."
"Yeah, Aaron loves opening up for us."
"What about the rest of the time your gone?"
"Well, we have six concerts one after another. The last one is in Lexington, Brian and Kevin's hometown. Then me, Howie and A.J. are flying back here to Florida. I guess Bri and Kev are gonna stay there for Christmas."
"When are you getting back?"
"Monday, the 7th. Our plane arives here about 12:30."
"Oh, I've got school."
"You do?" asked Nick.
"Yeah, we have two weeks left of school before Christmas break."
"So you have school tommorow too?" Nick asked disapointedly.
"Yeah, I wish I could be there when you leave."
"Well, Its okay. I'll only be gone a week."
"I'm gonna miss you."
