Me
If you're not a sci-fi buff than let me fill you in on the origins of my name. I am named for "Talena" a character in John Norman's Tarnsman of Gor. My mom was reading the Gor series around the time of my birth and thought that the "tempestous" attitude and other-worldy beauty of "Talena" would suit her first-born offspring i.e. moi quite well. And what can I say--she was right.
What I Dig
Well, mom must of been something of a pyschic or the world just tends toward sychronicity because one of my favorite genres is science-fiction. However, it has stiff competition with my love and appreciation of horror.

I actually prefer "old school" horror like the original black and white "Dracula" and "The Wolfman." Often I find that older horror movies have a better overall story, plot and character development. I am especially partial to older films starring Vincent Price. As Price said to a fellow horror actor,'In the old days we didn't need lots of make-up to become monsters, we simply came as ourselves.'
