Biography Francine Drescher was born on September 30th in Flushing Queens, NY. She now lives in Los Angeles with her husband Peter Marc Jacobson(married to him since 1978)and her pomeranian Chester. Fran has always wanted to be a actress since she was a child. She attended Hillcrest High School a career oriented school and there she studied drama. After a year at Queen's College she entered Cosmetology school as a trade to fall back on. She recieved her license and opened a mini-salon where she gave haircuts for $5.00. Fran serves as the co-creater,writer, and producer of her show The Nanny. She is also a partner in a gorumet food line that produces Loaf n' Kisses Gorumet Croutons. Fran has benn nominated for a Golden Globe Award an American Comedy Award and a Emmy for her potrayal of Fran Fine on The Nanny. Even thought that The Nanny is off the air.
