How Our South Pacific Adventure Came About

Let it first be said that Patricia and I have always wanted to visit the South Pacific but we didn't feel that it would be possible for at least a few more years. However we did consider the possibility of a cruise to some different climate. Costa Rica perhaps, or some Caribbean islands we had yet to explore. This prompted us to research several cruise lines and send off for brochures.

One of the Cruise lines was Radisson Seven Seas. Eventually we started getting email back from Radisson (and tons of literature from other travel groups). Radisson would have specials on cruises to Bali or some other spot that we were not yet ready to tackle. And then last summer they offered a two for one price on a cruise through the Polynesian islands. Tahiti, Raiatea, Tahaa, Bora Bora, and Moorea. Seven days aboard the Paul Gauguin, food, wine and entertainment all included. And they were sailing on Dec 9 which would allow us to leave after Hurricane season, something always on our minds, and return before Christmas. We decided to
