Yam Festival Headquarters will be open at he Public Library on Friday October 20 from 11:00am - 5:00pm, Monday October 23 thru Friday October 27 from 11:00am - 6:00pm and Saturday October 28 from 9:00 am to 5:00pm.
Souvenirs will be for sale and exhibits will be on display.
TUESDAY October 24
Yam Festival Window/Storefront Display Contest
Judges will tour the town to judge window and storefront displays at 10:00am
WEDNESDAY October 25
Yam Contest Entries
Sweet Potato Quality Contest entries accepted. Adult and Youth Divisions 9:00am - 5:00pm Public Library
Art/Photography/Potato Crafts Registration
Youth and Adult entries will be accepted at the Tabor City Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Worker's Appreciation Breakfast
Yam Festival Board, committees and workers, The Todd House 7:30am. Sponsored by Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation. By invitation only.
Taste of Tabor
The Ritz Plaza - Downtown Tabor City - 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Chamber of Commerce Office, all banks, the library, or from committee members. Entertainment by West Columbus High School Jazz Band.
FRIDAY October 27
Art/Photography/Potato Craft Show
Adult and Youth Divisions. Tabor City Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. 10:00am - 4:00pm
Rotary Pancake Supper
Tabor City Elementary School Cafeteria. 5:00 - 8:00pm. Tickets may be purchased from any Rotary CLub member or at the door. $5.00
Street Dance
Live band "4 Knights" playing beach, country and top 40. Ritz Plaza, 7:00 - 11:00 pm
SATURDAY October 28th - THE NORTH CAROLINA YAM FESTIVAL
Yam Festival Headquarters will be open at 9:00 am today and will be open until 5:00pm.
Souvenirs will be for sale and exhibits will be on display. Remember that most area restaurants will be open for business and the Tabor Civitan Club and The Tabor City Rotary Club will have food booths near the Todd House lawn and Ritz Stage.
Yam Dignitaries Breakfast and Sweet Potato Auction
By invitation only. Prize winning sweet potatoes will be auctioned to the highest bidder. Sponsored by BB&T, Cooperative Bank, Horry County State Bank, Waccamaw Bank. 7:00am. The Todd House
