Ok, Tabor City and our neighbors……the inaugural Spring Has Sprung Farmers Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 25. We need vendors if we are going to even get this event off the ground. We need to know as soon as possible so we may reserve your space.

We need participants who want to sell plants, flowers, produce, chickens and ducks. We also have decided to include Home-Spun Crafts!! Vendor fees are $25 for those who are not chamber members and $20 for those who are members of the TC Chamber of Commerce. We will also be taking orders for those wishing to purchase Boston Butts to be picked up on May 25 and we will be selling BBQ sandwiches, water and soft drinks on Farmers Day! We need to hear from you TODAY!! If we have not got enough signed up by May 17, this Friday, we will have to cancel. Please call us NOW!

Don’t forget that we will be Celebrating the Fourth of July on Wednesday, July 3 this year! Fund Raising Efforts are underway! So far, we have the following sponsors who have committed to ensuring this event takes place again at no cost to our spectators: Elite One Insurance Agency, Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation, Toad Campers, and Atlantic Corporation/Tabor-Loris Tribune.

The Columbus County Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration is a wonderful way to give back to the community that supports our businesses daily and to get some publicity out there at the same time!! Please don’t let this opportunity pass you by!

I am proud to be an American and I know you are too! We look forward to hearing from you soon. Remember that we can achieve more if we all work together!
