It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Come see for yourself tomorrow night at Tabor City's Annual Christmas Parade Under the Lights.
The Town sponsored nighttime Christmas Parade will step off at 6 p.m. tomorrow evening, Thursday, November 30.
For parade entry, rules, line up information and more, call Ms. Gail Buffkin at the Tabor City Police Department at 910-653-3149.
We hope you'll stay around after the parade and enjoy the Chamber sponsored Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony which will begin immediately following the parade.
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will consist of the singing of Christmas Carols. We are honored to have the North Carolina Yam Festival queens scheduled to lead us in jolly song.
After the carols have lifted our spirits, we will have the Lighting of the live Christmas tree which was donated and planted years ago by the Tabor City Garden Club. Thank you, Dirt Daubers.
Special entertainment will be provided by Ryleigh Bunch, TJ James and the South Columbus High School Marching Stallions.
Hot dogs, hot cocoa, soft drinks, and sweets will be sold so bring your appetite. Make sure to bring your children to visit with our special guest, Santa Claus!!
