Other Toys

The toys on this page are just random toy lines that I don't have much information on, but I thought they were kind of neat. Most of them either weren't promoted enough to survive, or were just lacking in originality. I'll be adding more later.

Battle Brawlers

There were only two figures produced for this line: Crackarm and Hammertail. They were just two monster guys that had spring-loaded body parts so they could fight each other.
Infaceables

In 1985, Galoob's Infaceables: Mystic Warriors of Change were released. Their thing was that when their legs are pulled, air is sucked out of the figure's face, causing it to shrink over a different face underneath - thus man to beast. I think they were pretty cool in my opinion, but obviously not many other people thought so, leading to the lines quick demise.

Iron Lion

Sphinx
Pharoh-like figure with a red suit and gold head-piece. Changed into a snake.

War Dog

Robash

Brainor

Tembo

Tuskus

Torto the Claw

Incredible Thrasher vehicle

Horrible Hammer vehicle

Crusher Cruiser vehicle

I don't know if the three vehicles were ever produced or not. If you have any info about them please contact me.
Manglors

I don't know much about what these were like, but I think that the gimmick behind them was that they were able to be squeezed and crushed, and later regain their original shape. There were three figures and a playset: Manglord, Manglodemon, Manglodragon, and the Manglor Mountain Playset.
Rock Lords: Powerful Living Rocks

Tonka’s Rock Lords was another line of transforming robots. Twelve figures were released from 1986-1987, and all of them turned into rocks. Each figure came with one weapon and a mini-comic book. The story-line was that Magmar, the evil rock leader, hidden within the fortress Stonehead, tries to defeat the good rocks.

Heroic Rocks

Boulder
A green rock figure with yellow arms and an orange and yellow head.
Rank: Rock Lord/Good Leader
Body Type: Tungsten-among the toughest of all minerals, it shows durability and resolve.
Weapon: Power Sword (actually his weapon looked more like a gun.)
Bio: Brave and wise with an awesome physique, Boulder leads the defense of Quartex against Magmar’s villainous plots. Boulder has rallied the remaining free kingdoms of the planet under his leadership. His fiery temper strikes fear into friend and foe alike. In the heat of the battle, he scatters enemies with stungun blasts and zaps them with his Power Sword.

Granite
A gray figure with a blue face and blue knees. He turns into a flat, square rock.
Rank: Good rock warrior
Body Type: Granite- a tough-as-nails composition that reflects his strength and determination.
Weapon: T-Gun
Bio: A happy-go-lucky rock with a ready laugh, Granite is truly a "gentle giant." But put him in the thick of a fight and he’s one of the most fearsome combatants, on the battlefield. Despite its ordinary appearance, the T-Gun’s shiny bullets will pierce anything and that’s enough to send any evil rock running for cover.

Nuggit
A small, golden guy that turns into a gold nug.

Marbles

Evil Rocks

Magmar
A brown rock figure with a mohawk.

Sticks ‘N Stones
A two-headed black rock figure.

Tombstone
A blue and purple rock figure that turns into a tombstone.

Stoneheart
A solid gray/black rock figure.
Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light

Hasbro's Visionaries were based on the cartoon of the same name. They were produced in 1988, and looked like G.I. Joe's with holograms on their chest. The good guys were the "Spectral Knights" and the bad guys were the "Darkling Lords". 12 figures were produced, four of them were included with vehicles.

Spectral Knights: Leoric, Cryotek, Arzon, Witterquick, Capture Chariot w/ Feryl, Lancer Cycle w/ Ectar

Darkling Lords: Cindarr, Cravex, Darkstorm, Lexor, Dagger Assault Vehicle w/ Reekon, Sky Claw w/ Mortdred
