The Alpha Kappa Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated was founded June 1, 1931 by Dr. James E. Shepard, who is also the founder of North Carolina Central University. The brothers of the Alpha Kappa Chapter have enjoyed over 75 years of Achievement at our noble University.
