Nude At A Filling Station

I have never seen

A pig who could paint

I have never seen

A beautiful woman buying gas

Without any clothes on

I have seen

Women who were so beautiful

They made me wish I could paint

I once saw

An episode of "Green Acres"

Where Arnold the Pig

Fell in love with Cynthia,

Mr. Haney's prize winning dog.

In the end it didn't work out

It was stupid and sad and sweet

As love always is

The other day I bought some gas at the Circle-K

I saw a woman in the check-out line

With long thick honey-colored hair

And cheekbones so perfectly formed

Only the steadiest hand could reproduce them on canvas

She was buying wine coolers, not gasoline

And alas, she was wearing clothes

As I drove home I pondered the question

Of whether a prize-winning dog

Could ever fall in love

With a lowly pig
