Doesn't Dad remind you of the movie "Saving Private Ryan"?
This was just a few months before he met and married my mother.

My beautiful mother on her wedding day, February 15, 1947.
Unfortunately, she passed away in August of 1999
after 52 years of marriage.

These are my parents, Ann & Leo, back in the 80's.

On April 8, 2000 my father married Jeanne Henderson Morgan.
She is as sweet as she is beautiful and
we are ALL happy they have found each other!

Believe it or not, I had dinner with Richard Dreyfuss on
October 13, 1996!

In 1995 after the death of my dear dog Bob, I found Emily, my persian, at the shelter.
She has brought so much joy into my life! Does she remind you of Phantom of the Opera?

In 2002 I read an email about a cat who was available for adoption in Winston-Salem, NC.
I wrote and asked MANY questions about her. After receiving very good answers to
my questions Frank and I drove the 2 hours to pick up our new cat, Betty.

We were her fourth home. It is difficult for us to believe that ANYONE would want
to let her go because she is such a wonderful and loving animal. We love her dearly and
she knows that she has found her final home!

In 2003 I read a flyer at our local supermarket about a cat who was up for adoption because
the people who had the cat had a son who became allergic. I called to find out all about her
and found out that these people had declawed the cat and then left her outside,
without the abiltiy to defend herself!

Her name is Hazel. We knew we HAD to take her because not only was she
defenseless, but the temperature was going down to almost zero the next night.

When the lady handed Hazel to Frank, she held her with her feet straight out.
Well, Hazel shredded Frank's arms with her back claws! We still brought her home. LOL

She has been a very welcome addition to our family. She makes us laugh because she
loves to lay on her back with her back legs up by her ears while she bites the tip of her tail.

This is C.C., that's short for Chocolate Chip. Her original owner gave her that name.
I imagine she got that name because she is SO sweet!

C.C. came to us quite unexpectedly. She just arrived on our porch one day after
15 years of being an "outside" cat. Since I don't believe in animals being outside,
all of our cats live in the house with us. C.C. has adapted quite nicely.
She gets along well with Emily, Betty and Hazel.

Being part siamese, C.C. talks to us much of the day. One way to quiet that loud voice of hers
is to pick her up and kiss and hug her. She just purrrrrrrs and purrrrrrrrs.

C.C. chose the right place to retire. She has a home with us as long as she lives!

So those are our four fur babies.
We're pretty sure these are all the "children" we will ever have.
But you'll be the first to know if we have more because they will appear here in our "rouge's gallery".

Then after an exhaustive search for a new life partner, on
December 7th, 2000 I received an email from Frank.
On March 7, 2001, we were engaged.
On March 29, 2001, we were married!!
