Thank you for visiting
Though not now pastoring a church, due to some physical restrictions, I am now serving in a ministry of music, in the Green Valley Baptist Church, Walkertown, North Carolina, where Brother Wayne Dunn is the fine Pastor. I continue to be available for ministry (i.e. revivals, pulpit supply, Bible conference, college professor, etc.).Thanks you for praying and standing by us during the time of my bout with cancer. All invitations to minister are deeply appreciated. Thank you, and our Lord Jesus make this ministry a blessing to you,
Doc's Exhortation Place:
"But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin" (Hebrews 3:13 KJV).

Galatians 2:20 All Bible studies listed on this page are absolutely free. I believe these studies will be sources of spiritual growth and strength for you. Only the King James Bible is used in my studies, with additional insight gained from the Received (Greek) Text. You are welcome to copy and paste them into your computer's word processor. Use them in your own personal Bible study, and in your ministry in your local church. They are not copywrited, but please make no textual changes to any of this author's writings. More studies will be added along, so come back often. Please tell a friend about us.
To state it Biblically, you have to be born again (John 3:3). Here’s how:

1. Realize you are lost.
First, realize you are lost in sin. You are under sin's condemnation. The ending of your physical life will mean eternity in a burning hell (John 3:18,36; Romans 3:23; 6:23).
2. Recognize you are hopeless and helpless.
You are unable to remedy your lost condition. All self-efforts: Reform, religiosity, piety, baptism, church membership--even efforts to keep the golden rule and New Years Resolutions, fail. The inner voice constantly nagging you about your sinfulness just cannot be silenced (Ephesians 2:1-10; Titus 3:5-7 w/ John 16:7-11).
3. Believe the Gospel Message.
It is your answer, your only hope (Acts 4:12). It is found in I Corinthians 15:3,4 "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."
4. Receive Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Believing the gospel message, cast yourself on the mercy of God. Trust solely in His provision for your sins through the perfect work of Christ on the cross, and call upon God to save you. In calling, believe He hears and answers, just as His word declares. (Romans 10:9,10,13).
