The African Pygmy Dormouse (Graphiurus murinus) |
This homepage is dedicated to the cute and charming african pygmy dormouse, also known as the woodland dormouse. I want people to know that these animals excist and perhaps make them more popular as pets. But what is a dormouse?
The african pygmy dormouse is a small nocturnal rodent.
They originally come from Africa, and can be found from Sudan and Etiopia all the way down to South Africa. They live in forests and in rocky areas. They shelter in hollow trees or in the deserted burrows of other animals. They use grass, leafs and moss as bedding material.
