On arrival there, Smith reported to Brown, who hypnotized him with the signal phrase. Under hypnosis, Smith delivered my message and received one to bring back. Awakened, he was given the division report and returned home by jet. There I hypnotized him once more with the signal phrase, and he spieled off Brown's answer that had been dutifully tucked away in his unconscious mind.
The system is virtually foolproof. As exemplified by this case, the information literally was "locked" in Smith's unconscious for retrieval by the only two people who knew the combination. The subject had no conscious memory of what happened, so couldn't spill the beans. No one else could hypnotize him even if they might know the signal phrase. Not all applications of hypnotism are as tidy as that.
A very frightening aspect of this line of research is the deliberate creation of split-personalities. Remember the films The Manchurian Candidate and Telefon? Throughout this century spook doctors have looked for ways to create programmed assassins, and the multiple personality type has been an area of keenest interest. Dr. Estabrooks may have been one of those spooks.
One J.G. Watkins followed in Estabrook's footsteps in a subsequent series of tests on Army volunteers. He induced soldiers to commit acts which conflicted not only with their moral code, but also the military code drilled into them in basic training. Watkins was trying to see if he could get enlisted men to attack a superior officer, an offense punishable by court martial.
One of the experiments he devised involved placing normal, stable Army privates into deep trances. Once the private was under hypnosis, Watkins would tell the man that the officer sitting across from him was an enemy soldier. Watkins told the entranced private that this officer would attempt to kill him--setting up in the private's mind the belief that he was in a kill or be killed situation. The results were always the same. The hypnotized private would invariably immediatly attack the officer. The experiment was repeated several times, and in one case the man who was hypnotized and the man who was attacked were very close friends. In one experiment, the hypnotized subject pulled out a knife and nearly stabbed the officer. As one might expect, Watkins concluded that people could be induced to commit acts contrary to their moral code if their reality were distorted by hypnotism.
The Army and the FBI were not the only spooks looking at this "technology." In his book The Search for the Manchurian Candidate, John Marks described an early attempt by the CIA to create a "programmed assassin." He wrote that Morse Allen, who he described as the CIA's first behavioral research czar, conducted an experiment with two of his secretaries. One secretary, the "victim," Allen put into a deep trance and told her to keep sleeping until he ordered otherwise. The second, the "killer," was hypnotized and told that if she could not wake up her sleeping friend, "her rage would be so great that she would not hesitate to kill." An unloaded pistol was placed nearby. Even though the second secretary had expressed a fear of firearms of any kind, she picked up the gun and "shot" her sleeping friend. After Allen brought the "killer" out of her trance, she had no recollection of the event and denied that she could ever have shot anyone.
I want to take a brief intermission from this, and say a few words about why I am back to this subject matter to begin with. Let me explain. About a year ago, I was fully aware that all the research I was doing regarding this subject was not only being scrutinized, but that there were powers that be that were doing everything they could to cause circumstances which made it completely impossible for me to continue. And due to the course of the next year, up until now, I have not had the inclinationto go back to this at all. In fact, a dear friend of mine had even warned me that it was not good stuff to be working on, and that it was inviting an evil of sorts to be poking around me and around my immediate parameters, so much that I should really focus my energies on more positive and less threatening or dangerous subject matter. And for a whole year, I took that person's advice. I left it alone. And I had no intention of picking back up from where I left off. I have added several other topics to this website since, and have put a great deal of time and energy therein. But, as I've said before, and will say again, one must listen to one's heart, and go with one's instincts. And it came time for me to get back to this subject. Now here is why. I have been on a 9 + year search for my biological father, who seems to have completely disappeared without a trace. I mean there are no records he ever existed, and I lived with him until I was ten yrs old. I have two remainingg photos of him in fact. But, every time I made any attempts to speak to any governmental authority personnel or organization, including and not limited to the FBI and the dept. who handles the Witness Relocation Program, along with a written notice from my doctor stating that it was a matter of life threatening urgency that I find my father, which it is, to some degree, all instances of trying to communicate with any of them have been returned only with a non-chalant disregard. Once they get my father's name and pertinent info from me, they simply stop returning my phone calls, e-mails, whatever. They simply refuse to speak to me ever again. It's as if once they get his name from me, and know who it is I am trying to find, they immediately freeze up and refuse to ever communicate with me again. Now that in itself is strange, but there are so many extenuating circumstances involved it would take me a month at least to fill you in. Suffice it to say that my father was somehow involved with both the military industry and the mob. The Chicago La Cosa Nostra, to be more precise. In fact, I spoke personally, after an extensive search to get the information I needed to find this person, with the current, albeit not technically or publicly stated as being, boss of the Chicago La Cosa Nostra himself, the one and only Joey "The Clown" Lombardo. Yes, I spoke with him on several occasions, and even sent him photos of myself, my mother, and what I had left of the man who is supposedly my biological father, the man I lived with in Chicago until the age of ten. And when he got those photos, he phoned me back the following day and said that I looked more like him than I did my own father, or the man in the photos supposedly my father. And even he thought it a bit weird. Well, the plot thickens, folks.
After nine long years of searching, and posting thousands of messages on bulletin boards online, and even taking out an extensive ad in the entire Chicago area newspaper asking if anyone knew of him or remembered him, I have to this day gotten no responses. Nothing at all! But there's more. My mother, whom I currently live with again, here in the Phoenix AZ area, little by little continues to give me bits and peices of information, things I've asked her about in the past that she has insisted she knew nothing of or about, and now divulges to me about my father, and also, my step-father, whom, coincidentally entered into my mother's life while I was living in Chicago with my biological father, came into her life after only recently moving to AZ (specifically Tuscon) from the Chicago area. And, my mother only tonight told me how way back when they were first dating, my step father knew this woman Stella Duke, who was herself recently moved from the Chicago area, and was once Al Capone's secretary! And, to top that off, my step father, while he was first dating my mom, was consistently giving this Stella lady money, considerable amounts of money, and that when my step father finally married my mother, he cut Stella off financially, and she became very bitter towards him, and was very angry about him marrying my mother. Now, this woman, Stella, was quite a bit older than my step father, and I can't see any reason for jealousy, so, it must have something other than that to do with her becoming bitter over him marrying my mother, and cutting off the monies he was paying her on a regular basis. It's very interesting stuff, when you consider the fact that my step father had left Chicago while I was living there with my real father, and all of a sudden he got into law enforcement and became a Pinal County sherrif. It is my mother's opinion that he was (well actually he admitted to her of his connections with the mob there in Chicago) that the reason he got out of Chicago so fast and ended up in Tuscon, was that he had some bad dealings with having murdered a mobster's daughter and got into law enforcement as a way of protect in himself from any harm coming after him. Anyway, I am telling all of this now because I have always had a passion for the subject matter of mind control and there has to be a reason. There has to be a connection in all of this somehow, or I wouldn't feel so strongly called to do this work. Anyway, the reason I am so convinced of there being a connection, is because about the time I began to search for my father was about the same time I also became passionate about UFOLOGY, and the paranormal, and eventually the offshoot from that, being the conspiratorial factors which have led me to this particular area of research. Somewhere in this website I am sure I have stated the importance of being intuitive and of strengthening that part of ourselves, and it has been through my own intuitive faculties which I have over and over again returned to this subject matter. And of course, I will never stop searching for my father. There is some kind of connection, and I just can't ever be finished with it until I get to the truth. Now, I am going to get back to the material about the connection between HAARP and mind control, and the next bit of info will definately put a light onto what I've just shared with you. MKULTRA
While there is no discernable direct connection between the CIA's experimentation with LSD and other drugs in the 50's (I left out that part because it ws just too much content and I need to keep the space available for what's most important here) and 60's and HAARP today, there is a stunning lesson to be learned in the CIA's use of a new technology (LSD) on unwitting subjects within
this country. The potential for similar misuse of technology (HAARP) certainly exists today. I very definately see a parallel between these two programs. As I relate some of the facts known about MKUltra, please consider: if our government could do that then, what could it do with HAARP now?
Throughout the 1970's the word leaked out that researchers working for the CIA and other spook agencies were engaging in a variety of bizarre, and very illegal, mind control experiments. In 1976, for example, former CIA officials leaked Top Secret documents to journalist James Moore that described mind control methods involving "Radio-Hypnotic Intra-Cerebral Control and Electronic Dissolution of Memory." The lid came off in 1977. MKUltra was a breaking news story, getting national attention. This was due in no small part to the publication of Walter Bowart's classic expose, Operation Mind Control. President carter and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence called for testimony from then CIA Director Admiral Stansfield Turner. Turner described MKUltra as merely a program of drug experimentation and not one aimed at behavior control. After a FOIA request netted him boxes of CIA records, author John Marks called a press conference. Marks criticized Turner for several "distortions" in his testimony. Marks released a score of CIA documents to reporters that revealed the scope of the behavioral experiments conducted by the CIA. Public outcry soon forced the Senate Subcommittee on Health and Scientific Research, chaired by Senator Ted Kennedy, to hold public hearings.
The Kennedy Subcommittee learned the details of the CIA's Operation MKUltra primarily through the testimony of Dr. Sidney Gottlieb (b. 1918) the psychiatrist in charge of the program. He presided over investigations as far ranging as advanced research in amnesia caused by electroshock to leave-no-stone-unturned searches of the jungles of Latin America for toxic leaves and barks. Dr. Gottlieb was a native of the Bronx with a Ph.D. in chemistry from Cal Tech. Gottlieb was the head of a Division of the CIA that was filthy with Ph.D.s called the Technical Services Staff.
Gottliieb's boss was Richard Helms, the head of Clandestine Services (officially called the Directorate of Operations, but popularly known within the Agency as the "dirty tricks department"). Helms, who eventually became the Director of the CIA, was recruited into the CIA's predecessor, the OSS, by OSS founder General William "Wild Bill" Donovan. Before becoming a spy, Helms had been a young newspaper executive who had gained fame for interviewing Adolf Hitler in 1936 while working for United Press International.
The operational arm of MKUltra was code named MKDelta. The MK in both names is taken from the German spelling of "mind control." MKDelta's purpose, according to Dr. Gottlieb's sworn testimony, was to "investigate whether and how it was possible to modify an individual's behavior by covert means." Claiming the protection of the National Security Act, Dr. Gottlieb refused to tell the Senate Subcommittee what had been learned or gained by these experiments.
Dr. Gottlieb stated that the program had been started over concern that the Soviets and other enemies of the U.S. and would get ahead of the U.S. in this field. The Subcommittee learned that the CIA's experiments had involved slipping LSD to unwitting American citizens in real life situations. Hundreds never recovered from these "trips," and many died.
The idea of the series of experiments that eventually produced MKUltra probably originated back in 1941. In November of that year the OSS invested $5000 in a "truth drug" program. Early experiments with scopolamine and morphine proved unfruitful and very dangerous. The program eventually tested scores of drugs, including mescaline, barbiturates, benzedrine, cannabis indica, and many others. Since that time, movies, novels, and the like, have fictionalized, dramatized, and sensationalized the use of "truth serums."
Initially, the experiments were done on volunteer U.S. Army and OSS personnel. The testing was also disguised as a remedy for shell shock (or "post traumatic stress disorder" as it is called today). The volunteers became known as "Donovan's Dreamers," so-named after Major General William J. Donovan (1883-1959). "Wild Bill" Donovan was a burly vigorous Republican millionaire who had started as a White House intelligence advisor prior to the 1941
Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. ELECTROMAGNETISM AND MIND CONTROL
There were three principle North American scientists who pioneered the work of using electromagnetism to control human behavior. Their work began over 30 years ago. These three were: Dr. Jose Delgado (b. 1939), the great guru of American brain tinkerers, and two of his contemporaries. One was the previously mentioned Dr. W. Ross Adey (b.1922), who did much of his work as a physiologist at the Brain Research Institute at UCLA. The other was Dr. Wilder Penfield (1891-1976), an America whose researches were
conducted in Canada.
In 1969 Dr. Delgado, while attached to the Yale University School of Medicine, published his report "Physical Control of the Mind: Toward a Psychocivilized Society." After years of research with electrodes embedded in the brains of chimps and humans (a technology called electrical stimulation of the brain (ESB) he stated that it was possible to control human movements, glandular functions, specific mental manifestations, and to produce behavior indistinguishable from spontaneous activity. He wrote: "[T]he individual is defenseless against direct manipulation of the brain because he is deprived of the most intimate mechanisms of biological reactivity." Later Dr. Delgado told Congress:
We need a program of psychosurgery for political control of our society. The purpose is physical control of the mind. Everyone who deviates from the given norm can be surgically mutilated.
The individual may think that the most important reality is his own existence, but this is only his personal point of view. This lacks historical perspective.
Man does not have the right to develop his own mind. This kind of liberal orientation has great appeal. We must electrically control the brain. Someday armies and generals will be controlled by electric stimulation of the brain.
These remarks of Dr. Jose Delgado appeared in the 24 February, 1974, edition of the Congressional Record, No 26., Vol. 118. Despite Dr. Delgado's outrageous statements before Congress, his work was financed by grants from the Office of Naval Research (which had participated in MKUltra and who today co-directs HAARP), the Air Force Aero-Medical Research Laboratory, and the Public Health Foundation of Boston.
Skipping on down now, some more, and bringing you up to speed with a bit more current of technology, here is some further excerpt:
The CIA is rumored to have received direct communications between the brain and a computer in 1969. In the 1970s the South China Morning Post reported that an American University had invented a mind reading machine which could record a person's thoughts. The original purpose of this invention was to help authorities investigate severe auto accidents. It was meant to be used on people who had entered into comas. The CIA was alleged to have learned of it and purchased the patent.
A curious peice of "confirmation" is an "affidavit" anonymously posted on the Internet which reads:
In the spring of 1984, I was a lieutenant colonel serving in the National Defense Department of Taiwan. At that time, I read a classified document from the department that I serviced. The document indicated the Military Police Department of Taiwan had purchased the mind (thought) reading machine from the U.S. (In Taiwan it was called Psychological Language Machine--it means the machine can read minds.). The document was a request to the U.S. for parts to repair malfunctioning machines. Before I left Taiwan, this machine had become the most effective weapon for the security departments of Taiwan, such as the Headquarters of Police Departments, Military Police Department, and the National Security and Investigation Department.
Certainly several researchers have achieved something like this since. For example, in 1994 the Colorado-based company Advanced Neurotechnologies, Inc. announced the development of a device they called Brainlink, a brainwave to computer interface system. Per their released specifications on the device, it amplifies 0.5Hz to 40 Hz brainwaves and converts them to digital form. This is just one of several products now, or soon to be, available. Nexus Magazine, Oct/Nov, 1996 declared:
British scientists are developing a concept for a computer chip which, when implanted into the skull behind the eye, will be able to record a person's every lifetime thought and sensation.
I want to break here and just make a mention of how, in my page about synchronicity I talk about how two different people, sometimes many miles apart, can be on the same exact wavelength, and be talking about the exact same thing. For instance, right now, tonight, while I am currently typing into this website this particular bit of information, I am listening to Art Bell's show on the radio, and one of his guests tonight happens to be discussing at the very moment I was typing this info in, the subject matter of how a person's every memory can be recorded, per se, in what is termed the ether, or in Hinduism, called the Akashan, and what others have termed the Akashic records, which, apparently, and I've done research on this myself, and have actually had what is called an Akashic reading done, it's like a gigantic Universal library of all of the information of life on Earth, or perhaps life in this galaxy, whatever, and in some type of binary code, is recorded there, and can be accessed through telepathic means. Well, apparently that is how my reading was performed, which was done by proxy for me about 19 years ago, and it was so similar to the technology that is coming forward today, in our time, and I believe that this so called technology is but a mere discovery of what the collective consciousness is now coming into awareness of in the human state or form, and certain professionals, like the ones mentioned above, in the feilds of research that they are, are trying to say they are creating these machines and so forth, but in actuality they have merely tapped into what is a collective conscious realization or memory, and trying to not only monopolize it, but to use this to control the masses before the masses realize what they already possess themselves. And again, a synchronicity occurs with me, as I said, while I'm working on this very article, there is someone on the airwaves discussing the exact thing I'm writing about at the same time. So, another really good example of how synchronicity works folks. I'm not fooling here. This is for real, in real time, and it's no joke. Please, please pay attention, because the more you tune in, the more you will start to see these synchronicities in your own life and you will be amazed. Its an exiting time to be here. Just as it's a frightening time, it's also exiting. We just have to do exactly what that radio host tonight had to say to one of her callers, about focusing on the positive, and not on the negative, on the love, and not the fear. I am merely trying to educate those of you who have no idea of what's going on, but I am not trying to instill fear in you. It's about being aware, and if we are aware of the darkness, and we are focusing on the light, then the darkness has not only been exposed, but the light has therefore succeeded in cancelling out the dark. But it is my firm belief that we need to be aware. I don't think ignorance is the way to go. I think being knowledgeable to some extent at least, and then deciding what to do with that knowledge, is the way to go. It is interesting to learn about these things, but there is more to my intent than to simply teach you about them. It is my intent that you are aware of the so-called current and past research and how it has been tainted and abused, and concealed from us, and as you can clearly see from the information I've brought to you here, it has been a long, ongoing process which, should we remain ignorant of these things, can be completely "removed"from our conscious awareness so that we won't have the memory to become that whole being again, that Oneness, which we are walking through the doorways of right now, leaving behind the duality of our past, and returning to the wholeness of our collective consciousness again. I am just trying to help the process along by making certain that all the parts of that whole are re-united in conscious awareness, and able to remember just how vast we truly are. Just how incredibly vast. It is the intent of those who serve the darkness to keep as many as they can in the dark, because they have lost their sense of the whole being, and they are still trying to hold onto the duality of the past. And they want nothing more than to keep as many there with them as they can. It's an old game that is worn out, but by those of us who are feeling compelled to do so, it is one that will be erradicated, and will fail. It is my intent that those who are still preoccupied with this material and dualistic world and mindset, become aware of the reality that is upon us right now, and the need to re-member our whole being again, and be ready to walk through the doorway of rememberance, together. All One. Not fragmented. Awake, and re-membering. There is just a bit more on the subject that I want to finish this up with. But it will have to wait until tomorrow.
