My Special Forces Photos

C-141 in background was plane we used to go to Wendover, Utah. Some of my fellow SF unit members waiting for boarding.

Getting ready for jump. Checked all equipment at Bragg, but actually put chutes on in flight, otherwise would have sat around for several hours in chutes.

Me all chuted up and ready to go.

A shot I took while in the air, was not on Wendover, Utah jump but sometime later. Note the holes in chute, no, they are suppossed to be there. This was an MC-1 type chute.

Some of the team members on a mountain top near Wendover, Utah. Bonaville salt flats in background.

A cave was the best place to hide from "enemy" aircraft and stay out of sun.

Team members under a rock overhang. Trying to stay out of sun.

Three members of the Team hanging out in one of the caves/overhangs used to stay out of sun and sight. Guy with blue flash was from 19th SFGA.

Signal Company 5th SFGA returning from 100 mile march. Note old Smoke Bomb Hill barracks and unit buildings in photo.

Some of the unit members enjoying refreshments after march.
