CBR School

While I was in the US Army Special Forces, I was sent to Ft. McClellan, Al. to attend the Army's CBR School (Chemical, Biological and Radiological). I used the knowledge gained there to teach CBR classes in my unit and other units at Ft. Bragg. A few years later, while with the North Carolina National Guard, I was assigned as an instructor to a CBR School at Camp Shelby, Ms. The photos here are from my class at Ft. McClellan, Al.

A couple of guys in protective mask. Doing field test on agents. We had to test the substance in the bottles to see what it was.

A photo of a part of the CBR school class I was in at McClellan. We were at an outside class area.

A photo of me conducting a field test on an unknown agent.

Some of our class members suiting up to deal with nerve agents. Note that they are to be completely covered by protective clothing. Just a drop on exposed skin can kill.

A photo of the guys with goats that they used nerve agents on.
