Garden of Eden Series
Garden of Eden: The Meeting
She wandered through what seemed like the perfect paradise. Silent breezes, beautiful
green trees, water pure as..well perhaps her heart. She said with a smile, “I wonder where
this sweet breeze comes from?”
“I wondered where your sweet voice came from till I saw that beautiful face,”
answered a voice from the shadows. She turned quick, “Who is that?” she screamed,
“Who else is here?”
For a moment there was silence, then a quick hushed movement between the
bushes. She stood paralyzed as he emerged from behind that dark leaves. His head tilted,
eyes staring at her as if she would disappear if he blinked. Her breath lost her, lungs
seemed to stop as questions filled her head. He moved slightly forward, his body leaving
the shadows as he stepped into the light. All the while his hand held out toward her,
inviting her hand to join. She stepped back, her eyes following all his movements, they
seemed almost cat like.
“May I ask Sir, how did you get here?” she seemed to whisper under her breath.
“May I ask Maam, how did you get here?” he said grinning, finally completely
emerging from the bushes to reveal the most beautiful skin she had ever seen. His skin
glowed in the soft light of the sun, so much she held out her hand to touch it. He smiled
and moved closer.
“Would you like to touch me Madame?”
“Well, ...I...why yes I would sir..if I may,” she said moving closer, softly caressing
his face, his very beautiful face. She glanced up into his eyes, and without thinking said,
“You are the most beautiful thing I have ever encountered here...I..I don’t know where
you came from but I would like it if you stayed tonight.”
He placed his hands gently about her waist and pulled her closer. “Anything for
you my lady..anything at all.”
Her thoughts still moved her, even in his grasp. She couldn’t help but wonder how
he appeared from what seemed to be nowhere. His blonde hair moved with the wind like
they were lovers. She suddenly felt her heart beat a little faster, placed her hand on her
chest then glanced at him. He was smiling, a beautiful heavenly smile, and she knew
everything had changed with this moment.
Garden of Eden: What night holds
She didnt hear him coming,
she didnt know that the soft breeze she felt was his breath on
her neck
she figured she could dance in the wind until night surroundered her and became that
blanket she lost so long ago
what a beautiful lovely sunset, she thought as she twirled through the evening air..he
smiled silently moving with her through the soft purple fields
"i could love him on an eve like this" she whispered to the leaves of his favorite tree
and then the sunset on the lush hills she used to play in as a girl..and things changed..the
night came and her fears grew...her lovely sunset had left her and the cold night came and
filled her wth worry and grief..she was alone whimpering in the fields..the dark fields...until
she felt that soft breeze again..and his form took shape in front of her eyes...he smiled
saying "You grieve too soon dear" and took her hand..they walked for what seemed
to be an eternity and he calmed her weary heart with his sweet words and soft kisses..she
couldnt help but fall in love with his warmth and kindness and she offered him a place with
her during the sunrise..he shook his head no claiming the gentle warm light was not for
him..and the sun rose over those lush hills and she wept while he disappeared before her
eyes.."I Would love you on a day like today" she whispered through her tears...
Garden of Eden: The Rapture
She laughed when she fell and brushed
against the trees and thought of him
he spoke to her in her dreams, her thoughts,
her every movement was a breath he’d take.
"He's the light", she whispered softly giggling into the
breeze moving around her
Her paradise had everything except for him
and how could this be paradise without him ? she wondered
she sat in a dried field of daises
rose petals lying on the ground next to her..
in a ring that formed several circles that seemed to link
to wherever her fingertips touched..
she smiled believing it was his doing...his magic/spark that
made the trees move and petals meet her
as if her spirit was shared with theirs
the birds sang a different song unlike none she has ever heard
almost like the deep raspy voice she heard him sing with in the night
and she loved it..there was nothing more she wanted in the world
in paradise..than to have him near her always
"Hush" she said to the birds and silence filled the air
she laughed once more, realizing everything was him
and it made her feel alive inside to know that he was with her
he has always been with her though she thinks...
She knew he was everywhere..she realized he was everything she touched
and she picked the most precious delicate flower, laying out in the field
the only alive in the bunch and she kissed it
held it to her heart and closed her eyes whispering over and over "I Love you"
She danced with it,
twirled about in the field
"today you will show yourself to me" she screamed inside her soul
not knowing the wind carried those words to him-
She opened her eyes and found herself
being held
his warms arms surrounded her and she smiled
and turned to kiss him, seeing him smile for the first time in the daylight
"Baby, you bring a gentle wind to my aching soul, and I want to feel its breeze always,"
she said
her lips pressing close to his, in the most beautiful kiss she had ever
experienced
With a heavenly smile in his eyes he held her close, running his fingers through her
hair... placing his head on her shoulder he looked up at the sky and smiled..
the sun seemed to beam brighter as she turned to smile to him...
with a voice of an angel he spoke and said, "What a lovely morning to give my heart to
you"....
Garden of Eden: The end of night
Upon seeing him for the first time in the sunlight,
she had felt her spirit lifted
her wounds healed-
he had brought with him from the darkness
a reminder of what lies beyond paradise
a memory of where his heart had been...
there was a new peacefulness surrounding
the forest,
the fields reflected her joy and happiness
in shades of gold and orange, bouncing to the sky
above.
He had become more than a soft breeze,
a shadow, a looming hope,
he had become real.
This day would be the first day of
their new paradise,
where light and dark could become one
with every sunrise and set
and so she turned to the heavens and with a smile
said,
"dear god,
thank you for this rapture,
thank you for this peace,
thank you for this joy,
and i pray everyone will feel this once at least
as i will for the rest of my days.
i pray i will never lose sight of the gift he gave
and i promise to love him for the rest of my life,
even if darkness draws him back.
He is that one thing i cherish,
beyond everything ive ever known.
To him i say: you bring me peace and heaven in your
smile
and i was born to love you.
Let what i say to you God ring through the ears of
those outside of
here so that they might find what you have given me
thank you for this..."

The tree has entered my hands,
The sap has ascended my arms,
The tree has grown in my breast-
Downward,
The branches grow out of me, like arms.
Tree you are,
Moss you are,
You are violets with wind above them.
A child - so high - you are,
And all this is folly to the world.
