Figures of Speech

One day I was walking down the street at UTD when I saw this girl that was hotter than the sun. (Simile) As she walked closer to me my palms grew moist (parallelism) and I began to salivate. I was so excited I felt like a kid at Christmas that just discovered one last present hidden behind the tree. (analogy) Easy to see, this girl was (inverted word order) and I could not stop staring. This girl was so fine, she was hot, she was sexy, she was beautiful, she was everything any guy would have ever wanted. (anaphora) I had heard around campus that she was referred to as “Her Hotness” (antonomasia) but instead of talking to her I just kept walking strait to class hoping that someday I would get a chance to talk to her.
