PC computers and Macintosh computers have many differences. For example, Macintosh's only have one button on the mouse while PC's have two buttons, a left and a right. Visually the Macintosh's are far superior to any PC computer. Window's fading and many other visually superior effects are standard on any new Mac computer, but PC's do not have those features and sometimes appear dull in comparison. Different companies can make computers that run Windows operating system while Macintosh makes their own computers that only run their operating system. The Macintosh computers at UTD appear to run numerous Microsoft software; such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Explorer, instead of Apple software. Most PC's run only Microsoft software and a user would rarely run an Apple word processor on a PC. Macintosh's certainly do look "cool" to most younger computer users compared to a PC but it is not used by as many people and most computer users find PC's much easier to use.
