Free food and drinks are normally available, together with special prizes from WMNC and the commercial host. Whenever possible, music from 92.1FM is played with live commentaries by WMNC radio personalities including Bert Lindsay, Cindy Byas, The Melman and Bobby T, Todd Lewis, Joey Bellanger.. and of course, the 'Big Dawg' himself usually makes an appearance.
As the weather improves, there will be more of these special remote broadcasts.. and you are always extremely welcome to join the party and have some great fun with The Big Dawg.
Our last remote was Saturday August 21st. at Legendary Ford at HWY 70 and 221 Marion.
Our next BIG event will be the Morganton Historical Festival in September. Country greats Ricky Van Shelton and Exile will be performing at center stage. As soon as I know 'all' the details, you will too!

To help finance itself commercially, WMNC Radio sends The Big Dawg out to remote broadcasts which are organized in conjunction with local businesses. It also regularly attends and sometimes hosts special public events in the Catawba Valley.
