There are way too many things wrong with this movie for me to analyze them individually. I'd have to write a book instead of a movie review. What a disaster. Did they miss any clichés and stereotypes? I don't think so. It's a good thing I didn't see this one in the theater, or everyone would have had to listen to my smartass comments all the way through. 
Wasn't it strange for the director to show that sex-filled intro scene while the music and credits were showing, and then Shaft never has sex in the movie?!! What's up with that? Oh yeah, it's a good thing Shaft's enemies are always either unarmed, or have such bad aim they can't even hit him with a machine gun!
