Before I saw this movie, I had no idea why Any Kaufman was ever popular. This movie really didn't do anything to help me figure it out. As far as I can tell, he was a total ass and people loved him for it.
It seemed like Jim Carrey spent half the movie dying. I would've liked it if they'd shown some scenes from Andy's childhood, or at least spent a little time delving into why he was the way he was.
