Have you ever read a book jacket which mentions how the author's parents were both murdered? Yeah, neither have I! Just an example of how this movie was terrible in many ways large and small.
The worst thing about it is that everything is filmed in the freaking DARK. You can't see anything all the way through. It might as well have been a radio show. Winona Rider wears a lot of makeup in this one. It's kind of weird to see her like that. Not that it looks bad, just different. She doesn't really need it.
