It seems like they were trying to copycat "Seven". Very predictable - - we were sitting back on the couch calling all the plot twists before they happened.
This movie is set in North Carolina, and you can some actors picked up their NC accents from the Andy Griffifth Show! They are so bad it's comical. "Hey Morgan Freeman! Aint Bee was rat out in front of the barber shop when they abducted her!"
Many other things about this movie were ridiculously unbelievable. Let's see:
1) Girl escapes from the killer, runs through the woods for half a mile and jumps in a river. When some fishermen find her the cops know where the killer's cabin is within two miles. However, they don't do a thorough search of the woods and can't find it!
2) Morgan Freeman knows who the killer is and where he's hiding. Instead of calling in for help, he goes off into the woods to capture him himself!
