In 1978 Eddie Jobson formed his on band "UK" in the age of 22. Before that he had played with Curved Air, Roxy Music and Frank Zappa. After splitting UK, Jobson joined Jethro Tull for the "A" Album, which was originally planned as a Ian Anderson Solo Projekt. He also joined Tull on the A-Tour. There a rumours that Jobson had to leave Tull, because of his strong live presence. Ian didn´t want to have a second frontman for Jethro Tull. 1984: Releases first solo LP under the name "Zinc".
1986: Second solo LP, "Theme of Secrets", is released. Now (?) Rumour has it that he is working in the computer industry, composing and producing music for programs and games.
