The first supplement, and the first book for Guardians of Order by new staff member David L. Pulver, definitely delivers. Very flexible rules allow for the creation of all sorts of mecha and cyborgs, both as PCs and equipment. There are even rules for making up new types of weapons. The new rules fit in with the basic BESM rules quite nicely, plugging into the character creation system. Mecha, much like characters, are built on points, and have attributes and defects, just like characters. Even the weapons can have attributes and defects. This bodes well for future supplements. The only real down side to the book is the fact that it costs more than the core rulebook.
