In the name of god amen I Ezekiel Thomas of the County of Anson in the state of North Carolina the in perfect soundness of mind knowing the mortality of body do ordain and bequeath this to be my Last will and testament as follows First after my just debts are paid I first give my dear Beloved wife Charity Thomas one hundred Acres of Land more or less where I now Live also two cows and calves also one Bay mare and -two- one two year old Coult Also three Beds and furniture one side saddle during her life Except she should marry and if she should Marry then the property that I have left her is to be sold and divided Equally Between Milly ozbourn Lewis Edmond Thomas also I leave my son Jonathan Thomas one dollar also I leave my wife as I did the rest two tables one chist one trunk one dish six (pewter) plaits one Bason three pots one spider and eleven Earthen plaits two pails two piggins one one tub and the whole of the chears one wheal and cards one shot gun and all the working tools and Lastly I Constitute and appoint my wife Charity Thomas Executors this my Last will and testament have revoking all other wills and testament heretofore by me made in witness where unto I have set my hand and affixed my seal this third day of May 1839 signed and sealed delivered as for the Last will and testament of the above named Ezekiel Thomas in the present off
