Annanias was born ca. 1827, the son of Annanias and Sarah Ross Thomas. He married Sarah Baucom b. May 1836, the daughter of Henry.
In 1857, Annanias Thomas was named administrator for the estate of his deceased brother John R. Thomas. Annanias, Jr. himself died intestate less than a year later. S. R. Baucom, a brother of Sarah's, was named Administrator of the estate. Annanias, Jr. is buried at Edmond L. Davis Cemetery beside his father. On 20 Dec 1858, Sarah received her dower right of 52 ¾ acres (Union) on Dumpling Road.
Sarah E. Thomas did not remarry. Dated 31 Dec 1903, J. W. Thomas applied in Union County for Letters of Administration for the estate of Sarah E. Thomas, Deceased. He listed the heirs and distributees as - ---- J. W. Thomas, Martha Griffin, Ashley Thomas heirs, Mary Howard and Elizabeth Howard Thomas.

On her death certificate, Martha Ann Thomas is listed as single and living in the town of Monroe. Their son is L. B. Griffin, b. 1887, married 20 Feb 1907 Blake Moore b. 1890, dau of B. F. and M. J.
D. Elizabeth Thomas b. 17 Sep 1854 d. 6 Oct 1927, bur. Union Church, married Mr. Howard. In the 1880 Union County Census, Elizabeth is listed as living with her mother. Also listed is a granddaughter named Arana Thomas b. 1873. This child is probably the daughter of Elizabeth. In the loose-leaf estate record fpr Elizabeth's mother, the name Howard was struck through and Elizabeth was listed as a Thomas. In the 1900 Union County Census, Elizabeth is listed as living in Buford Township. Also living in her household were her sister Martha and mother Sarah. In the death certificate of Elizabeth Thomas, she is listed as a farmer living in Lanes Creek Township.
