Adam Lee Rosol's
Tenth Month
November 13 - December 12 1999

Adam's 10th month featured his first ear infection, the addition of the Adam-Cam to his website, Thanksgiving, and much crawling around and getting into all kinds of trouble that he couldn't get into in the pre-crawling stage. He gets around very well, he's a crawling machine!

Here's some pictures of him during the tenth month

Crawling boy

" Hi Daddy! What are you doing down here?" As we said, Adam is the crawling boy. He's doing pretty good in getting around the room, and he loves when you come down and crawl with him.

Getting into trouble

" I like mission furniture, you can crawl right up into it " To Adam, the best part about crawling is the amount of mischief he can make. Here he's about to use this end table as a tunnel to an area we thought he couldn't reach so that he can try to unplug the light and/or the phone. Wires seem to fascinate him.

Adam with pumpkins

" OK, I see how you get up here, now how does this walking thing work? " For a couple of months now, Adam has been able to pull himself up with the help of furniture, the fireplace hearth, your leg, or anything that doesn't move fast enough (Not the cat, yet).

Turkey Leg!

" Thanks for the offer mom, but I don't think I can eat ALL of this yet. " Adam is sitting with the family for Thanksgiving dinner, and here his mom is offering him a bite of the turkey leg. Maybe Carol and Adam will be fighting for the dark meat next year...

Sam and Adam

" I'll be with you in a minute, Sam, I have a prior appointment with this ball" Adam's cousin's Samantha and Garrett came to North Carolina to visit him for Thanksgiving. Here Adam is staring intently into one of his balls before he gets back to playing with cousin Sam.

Santa Boy

" Santa, I think I want mutual funds for Christmas. " Here, Adam visits Santa for the first time at Carolina Place Mall. He behaved pretty well.

Playgroup at play

" Playgroup is SO much fun! Give me that toy! " Adam likes to play with the other babies in his playgroup.

Mountain Men

" Wow, the view is pretty good from this high. " We took a trip to Boone, NC to the Blue Ridge Mountains to cut down a christmas tree. We put Adam in a backpack, gave mom the bowsaw, and headed up a steep incline in search of the PERFECT tree. Adam loves to ride in the backpack.

Santa Boy

" Daddy, I love riding up here on you. " It's said that the trick to being a great photographer is to take a bunch of pictures and only show the good ones. This is one of the best pictures we've taken of Adam, riding on daddy's shoulders, with the mountains in the background. About 5 minutes after this picture was taken, Len put down Adam to carry the freshly cut tree, and fell in the mud.
